Integration into Safe Harbour Loci
The random integration of a transgene into the genome does not allow for the control of its copy number or eliminate the effects of chromatin environment on its expression. For transgenes where precise copy number regulation is critical and expression levels must be determined exclusively by the promoter, we perform integration into carefully selected genomic loci, such as Hipp11 and Rosa26, in mammalian base cell lines.
