DUOX BIOTECHNOLOGIES (Transgen LLC) was born from practice, from a situation familiar to many scientific and technology teams: a strong hypothesis or a promising product often runs up against lengthy, resource-intensive, and risky stages of genetic engineering. Construct assembly, genome editing, creation of stable cell lines or producer strains, transgenesis optimization, confirmation of target properties, and preparation of a project for further development all require specialized expertise, infrastructure, and months of experimentation.
We started as a team of specialists who wanted to make this path shorter, more precise, and more predictable without compromising scientific rigor. Over time, the project grew into a modern high-tech company that takes on the engineering part of molecular and cell biology: from modification design and development of genetic constructs to obtaining stable models, validating their properties, and delivering a ready-to-use result to the customer.
Today, Transgen LLC develops genetically modified, reporter, and immortalized cell lines for biomedical research, as well as producer strains of proteins and other organic molecules for industrial biotechnology, the food industry, and related fields. We help create transgenic cell models, perform gene knockouts, point substitutions, and sequence integrations, develop AAV-oriented solutions, immortalize primary avian and mammalian cells, and engineer yeast and bacterial producers of target molecules.
We build our work around three principles with which we began and which we maintain as we scale: innovation, professional expertise, and reliability.
